BRIEF
Katie Janness and her partner, Emma Clark, lived and worked in Atlanta. Georgia. The couple met at a bar in Atlanta and were in a relationship for several years leading up to the sudden horrific loss of Katie and Bowie.
Katie Janness and her dog Bowie will forever be remembered by many in the Atlanta, Georgia, community. But the question remains, do enough people know about Katie and Bowie?
No arrests have been made and no names have been mentioned by law enforcement, and no one has been cleared. This fact became a point of interest to the general public when Katie partner Emma wanted to be cleared of the crime.
By early August, less than a month after Katie and Bowie were murdered, it became clear that the investigation would take time. Police tracked down individuals who were seen in the limited video footage available

Shortly after 1:00 a.m. Katie's partner found Katie and Bowie in the park and called 911.
