On June 16, 2024, a worried grandmother notified police about the condition of her teenage grandson, Bryson Muir, who seemingly vanished minutes after leaving her house with his mother.

It appears that there was an arrangement to have Bryson leave his home in Indiana and visit his grandmother in Ohio. Bryson’s grandmother was concerned about the condition he was in at the time of his visit. He allegedly had a badly bruised and swollen eye, swollen face and injuries to his mouth.

Bryson’s grandmother alleges that Bryson was not upset with his parents and believed he deserved it. This is not an uncommon response from a child experiencing abuse. At this time the abuse is alleged until investigators can locate Bryson and confirm if he is safe.

Bryson Muir is the teenage son of Daniel and Kristen Muir. Daniel is a former NFL player and has established connections to a movement known as Straitway Truth Ministries. The movement focuses on building community around the core beliefs of Hebrew Israelites including keeping the Sabbath, the old testament laws, polygyny, and an emphasis on studying the Torah.

There are many individuals who claim that Straitway Truth Ministries is a cult and that their leader is alleged to be demonstrating disturbing behavior such as controlling families after they surrender assets. Until further investigation all claims regarding Bryson’s disappearance and/or Straitway Truth Ministries are allegations.
