BRIEF
There is an active and vibrant community of artists that can be found in the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado, as well as the surrounding communities. All year long artists can be found meeting up at parks and other public spaces to socialize, play music, or just enjoy some fresh air in good company. Over the years, since the 1980’s, Christine Pierce has been a well known face among artists and musicians in the Colorado Springs area and well respected for her talent as a drummer in several bands, including the Riverbottom band that plays Blues and Classic Rock covers.
Christine is known in her community by the names Chris, Chrissy, and Sis. Her friends are like family and Christine has a well established routine that many of her friends were not only well aware of, but we are told that Christine would notify her friends of any changes in her normal routine and stay in contact with them while traveling to see family out of town.
On October 16, 2020, Christine was seen in Colorado Springs throughout the day in the few block radius within the apartment building she lived at called The Albany. Around 6:00 p.m. Christine was seen outside of The Albany walking towards the nearby Tony’s Bar. It is believed that Christine did go to Tony’s Bar that night, we are working to confirm this information. However, Christine was certainly in and around the area of Tony’s Bar on the night of October 16, 2020, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. The photo we have provided above that looks like security camera footage is the clothing that Christine was wearing at the time of her disappearance, including the pink backpack. Christine often frequented the local Tony’s Bar, The Marian House Kitchen, Acacia Park, and she worked at the local Wendy’s at the time of her disappearance. After missing a message on her phone at 10:30 p.m. on October 16th, 2020, Christine also never returned to her apartment that night and Wendy’s reported that she did not show up for work the following day, October 17th, 2020.
Locals have claimed to have information about her disappearance and a reward fund is currently being established to encourage anyone to share any information they might know about Christine’s disappearance or movements on October 16, 2020.
If you have any information about Christine’s disappearance you can contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000 or you can share information below by using our anonymous contact form.
